Lauren's Baptism
This dress came about in the weirdest way. Let me explain. I subscribe to an heirloom sewing magazine, and in their January/February issue it came out with the pattern for this dress (of course I still needed to add sleeves to the pattern) but so what, that is no big deal. Well... Late January, Lauren and I came home from shopping and as soon as we walked into the house. Justin asked me if I had already started making the dress. I said no, but I was getting my fabric order ready this week. He looked at me and said, I really think you need to go to Burlington Coat Factory. I hear they have a lot of dresses. I had no desire to go, the one by us makes you feel like a criminal, just by walking in. I DON'T LIKE IT. He said just take Lauren and run down there for me. So we got back in the car and drove down there. And low and behold.... There was the dress (Still no sleeves)! It fit Lauren like a glove. We both fell in love with it and I brought it home and whipped up some sleeves and made my Princess very happy.

P.S. The dress is made by the Cinderella designer, which made Lauren extremely happy and gave her more of a Princess complex. I LOVE HER SO MUCH.
